Our Story
“The idea for Terracotta Home Decor was born during a trip to Jordan, when I was struck by the beauty of Petra, a Nabataean city whose monumental facades were carved directly into the rock. On my return to Quebec, I felt a strong urge to paint, a hobby I’d never practiced before.
A year later, in December 2023, the online boutique was born to enable people to create interior spaces that promote a slower lifestyle. Indeed, painting reminded me of the importance of taking a break… of living more slowly. In my opinion, reconnecting with nature and decorating our living spaces are part of this process. That’s why Terracotta Home Decor highlights eco-responsible items handcrafted with natural materials.”
